The Millennium Stadium is probably one of the most iconic, recognisable buildings in Wales.  Opened in time for the 1999 Rugby World Cup, it has played host to many historic sporting fixtures and concerts as well as corporate events, exhibitions, and business trade shows.

Some of the Adroit team were involved with the original construction project, so were thrilled when we secured the contract to replace the obsolete Building Management System with a new, state-of-the-art Tridium BMS. This brought with it all the benefits of an IP based system in terms of stability, reliability, and remote connectivity.

The system was also able to interface with the newly installed DRUPS system, Generators and Uninterruptible Power supplies which ensure events run smoothly even during National Grid power disruptions.

The Stadium has many Food & Beverage concessions.  We were able to enhance the BMS to include Modbus Electricity metering and Tenant billing capabilities, with monthly billing being automatically generated.

"I have no hesitation in recommending Adroit Controls. Our BMS upgrade was delivered on time & on budget with several additional projects completed to the same high standard. They have also supported me personally with training, advice & technical support around the recently installed Niagara platform & the future integration of other building & energy subsystems."
